1. Who we are
This policy applies to the Buyitwell website (the “Website”), operated by BUYITWELL INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company registered in Delhi (GSTIN 07AAPCB0711R1ZB). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
Registered office: OFC No 203, Gaurav Tower Community Center, G-BLK, New Delhi, West Delhi, Delhi, 110018..
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Order details: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, city, state and pincode.
- Purchase details: the items you order, order value, payment method and transaction references.
- Messages: anything you send through our contact form, by email or phone, including newsletter sign-ups.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser, device type and pages visited, used to keep the Website secure and working well.
- If analytics is enabled on the Website, aggregated usage statistics collected by our analytics provider.
Payment information
UPI payments are completed inside your own UPI app and processed by our payment partner. We never receive or store your UPI PIN, OTP, card or bank account credentials — only the transaction reference needed to confirm your payment.
3. How we use it
- To process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates and replies to your questions.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the Website secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send you our newsletter, only if you have asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:
- Courier partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver your parcel.
- Our payment partner — order and amount details, to process UPI payments.
- Service providers who host the Website, send our emails or provide analytics, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, only where the law requires us to.
5. Cookies & on-device storage
The Website uses a small number of cookies and your browser’s local storage to make shopping work. Your bag, wishlist and recently viewed items are stored on your own device — not on our servers — until you place an order. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they may set their own cookies; you can block these in your browser without affecting your ability to shop.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax, accounting and consumer-protection laws require (typically up to eight years). Messages are kept while needed to help you. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- withdraw consent for optional uses such as marketing;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
- raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, write to grievance@buyyitwell.com.
8. Security
The Website uses HTTPS encryption, and access to customer data is limited to people who need it to run the store. No system is completely secure, but if a breach ever affected your data, we would inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Children
The Website is meant for adults. You must be 18 or older to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
